Will smart home technologies and systems installed into my home add value to my home if and when I sell?

Smart home technologies and systems can potentially add value to your home when you decide to sell it. Here are a few reasons why:

1. Increased Appeal: Homes equipped with smart features are often more attractive to potential buyers. Many people are drawn to the convenience, energy efficiency, and security benefits that smart home systems offer.

2. Energy Efficiency: Smart systems like thermostats, lighting, and appliances can help reduce energy consumption, which may lead to lower utility bills. This can be a selling point for environmentally-conscious buyers.

3. Enhanced Security: Smart security systems with features like cameras, doorbell cameras, and smart lockscan provide an added layer of security, which is appealing to homebuyers concerned about safety.

4. Convenience: Automated features like smart lighting, climate control, andentertainment systems makedaily life more convenient, making your home stand out in the market.

5. Competitive Advantage: In a competitive real estate market, having smart home features can give your property an edge over others without such technology. However, it’s important to note that the value added by smart home systems may vary depending on the localreal estate market, the specific features installed, and the preferences of potential buyers.

To maximise the value added, it’s essential to choose smart technologies and systems that are in demand and have a positive impact on the overall living experience.

Why do I need a specialist to design and install technology systems into my new home?

Specialists are essential for a seamless integration of smart home systems. They have the expertise to plan and install complex systems, ensuring they work together seamlessly and are tailored to your specific needs.
If you have a Smart Door, Smart intercom, Security cameras and Alarm system in all separate apps, IT IS NOT A SMART HOME.

It’s called a stand alone system and they are not working together. The house does not become smart because it is not integrated.

When you are watching Netflix and the intercom rings, the movie pauses, the intercom camera appears on the screen and the bell sounds on the movie speakers. Open the front gate at night and the Light turns ON. Press “Welcome”, the driveway gate opens, the garage door opens, the lights turn ON, the alarm disarms and even the music turns ON. That is the real AUTOMATION DREAM HOUSE.

Can I install smart home systems myself or do I need a specialist?
Is a certified specialist installer really required?

Simple DIY smart devices can be self-installed, but for a comprehensive and integrated smart home system, it’shighly recommended to consult a specialist for proper setup and integration.

Certified specialists have the expertise and training to ensure your smart home systems are installed correctly and safely, maximising functionality and avoiding potential issues. It’s highly advisable to choose a certified installer.

What is the difference between generic DIY smart home products and dedicated custom systems?

Generic DIY(do it yourself) products are pre-packaged and often limited in capabilities, while dedicated custom systems are designed specifically for your home, offering greater flexibility, reliability, and integration, tailored to your unique requirements.
Most of the DIY on the market are not professional and reliable products. You can have fun to install them but they are very hard to find a product that you can use it and does not stop working in a month.

I tried my self a lot of the products on line to have the experience and most of them stop working. Out of line, not enough information to how to install and one of the most important topics… Do I have support for it?

All the products that we supply and install, we give warranty for them and we give the support for any inconvenience for the programming.

Do I need to control my home from a smartphone or similar device?

Not necessarily. While smartphones offer convenient control, you can also use dedicated smart home controllers, touch panels, voice assistants, or traditional switches and remotes depending on your preferences..

Alexa can control your entire Home automation, ONLY after we program it and the job is completed. You can not rely on voice control to manage your Smart Home.. If Alexa has a headache you can’t turn the light in your home…

How much does it cost to install systems into a smart home?

The cost varies depending on the complexity and scope of your smart home project. It’s best to consult with a specialist for a personalised quote based on your specific needs and preferences.
